A Shape-Shifting Sweep!

data_super_updated2The results are in! Thank you to everyone who participated in our survey of super powers.

Altogether, data was collected from 93 people and in the end shape-shifting has proven to be the most desirable one. It was very interesting to see the results unfold as shape-shifting took a sizeable lead early on, but in the last week, invisibility made a valiant effort towards catching up.

With so many choosing shape-shifting as their super power choice, we’re very curious to find out why it was so popular! Was it because people imagined themselves changing into specific shapes or forms? Or did the appeal come from being able to shift into an infinite number of shapes?

Division 2, take another look at the bar graph above that displays the results of the data we collected. Think about the facts that you can ”see” within it. What can you infer from these results?

I think alot of people picked shape shifting because they can shape shift into a famous person, rock climber (I wouldn’t want to be a rock climber.)and they probably want to be a popular kid in there school.(it would be really fun to be popular). would you want to be popular?.

Hi Chevaun! I think that having the power of shape-shifting would be cool too! That’s the one that I voted for! I wouldn’t want to be a popular kid in school because you wouldn’t have time alone! I would like to be… well, a bird or something that flies because I have ALWAYS wanted to fly! What would you want to be the mot out of everything?

I believe that why shape-shifting got the msot votes because it is the power with the most possibilities to do anything, because you could turn into something that has all of the other powers!

Daniel is right you can shape shift to have other powers and you can get through suiciruty. (I think I misspelled that.) And it’s fun.

I can Infer that the reason the shape-shifting is the most popual, is because, if you had the ability to shape-shift into anything it would be pree cool so people would probaly like that more then super stranth, becaouse if you really work out you could be pretty strong. And i think why no one picked Elasticity, is becaouse if people could strech like that it would be plain creepy. =p

I thought that indestructibility would win because it is the ability to be well invincible! So I had no idea that shape-shifting would win.

I believe that shape shifting got the most votes because you could be anyone like the president of the United States or someone powerful and do any thing you want.

I can’t believe that the ability to shape shift won first. I think this because it would be nice if I had the power to shape shift into any animal I want to be.

The shape shifting won at about 25, but invisibility was not much behind at about 20. Not many people liked super strength I think they did not like it as much because you could break a lot of things but it would come in handy sometimes. I think shape shifting won because you could change into anything like a man or woman with super strength or hide by changing into any person.

Hello everyone! I think the reason that shape-shifting won is because you could become something that could run fast, fly, or even something that can camouflage if you needed to! I think the reason that elasticity had no votes is because you wouldn’t really be able to do much with it. Super-Strength, super-speed and telepathy weren’t very popular either.

Hi Division 2! What I know about this graph is that shape shifting won for sure. I can also tell that Elasticity had the least amount of votes. In second I think Invisibility had about 17 votes. Super strength had the second least amount of votes and it looks to me that it had about 2 or 3 votes. In third there is time travel with about 14 votes.
I think the reason why shape shifting is so popular is not because people want to duplicate them selves, but because you could shape shift into anything. I guess you could shape shift into someone invisible or someone super strong.

I think shape-shifting is the most popular power because you can turn into something powerful and take over the world. Other people might use this power for other things like helping people and so on. It’s also interesting that 93 people participated in the survey!

I don’t know why so many people picked shape shifting. I wouldn’t have picked that. I chose invinsability.
