The Student Blogging Challenge is here again! We’re a little late getting through the first couple of challenges, but please bear with us because we’ll be catching up really soon. It’s always a bit tough for us to get going with our blogging so quickly at the beginning of the year because we don’t start the school year until September, the same time the Fall Challenge starts.

Our first task is an important one: Why is it worthwhile to spend time exploring our blog? What do we offer our readers? Our class has come up with a lot of great answers for you, but before we spend time sharing them we thought it was only fair to let you know what you won’t see on the Ripple Effect. We would never want you to feel like you’ve wasted your time here.

So , since you’ve already spent at least 45 seconds reading this post, we’ll get right to the point. We can say with great certainty that we do not or will not have any posts on the following topics:

• Instructions detailing how you can scale the outside of the Empire State Building, i.e. the King Kong technique. We wouldn’t want another incident to occur like the last one. It didn’t end well.
• The undisclosed location of the fountain of youth. Although we’ve spent a great deal of our own time searching for this because Mrs. Braidwood basically told us we had to, we have nothing to report.
• Unlocking your inner ability to fly. This just means too much to Superman. We could never do that to him.
• Top secret details about the 15th universe in space. If you can prove to us you know which universe we’re in now, we may rethink this one.
• The earth-shattering scientific discovery of talking caterpillars that appear to have lollipops sticking out of their heads. We know you just said “Huh?” So clearly you’re not ready for this information.
• How to rule the world. Sorry … with great power comes great responsibility. We take our oath seriously.

So, if you are looking for information on any of the above topics, we’re very sorry we couldn’t help you. However …
