An Angling We Go!

angle_collage_2smMost of the Ripplers have been able to showcase their new angle knowledge on their blogs this week. Whether they like it or not, they’re seeing angles everywhere now! To show what they have learned so far, with Ms. Rogerson, each student wrote about their individual understanding of angles and created an animoto video based on their collective knowledge in small groups. Aiden, Jennifer, Allie, and Liam have great descriptions of their learning process and are definitely worth checking out. A few groups are still finishing up their last minute video details, but most have theirs embedded and the missing ones will all be sorted out when we return to class in 2 weeks.

I have really enjoyed your posts about angles! What a fun way to explore this mathematical concept… I will have to try this out with my kiwi class when we start in the new year. I hear that you would be happy to host a little fellow called Trev before he flies on to Sointula? Mr Miller is getting ready to send him on – would you be keen? I am trying to get the blog so that it is shared and will get back onto that as soon as I am back from my holiday.

In the meantime, have an awesome Christmas and a wonderful new year. I look forward to following your learning path more closely :)

We would love to host Trev before he heads up Island here! Will he be going to Ms. Watson’s class there? Mr. Miller’s class introduced Trev to us when we Skyped with him last week. What information do you need from us? You can always email us at our.ripple.effect@gmail.com if you would like to send us more details.

      Thanks for including us!
